Runestake requires a stable internet connection for games and site features to work properly. If you experience lag, disconnects, or delays, try these steps to improve your connection.
Quick checks
Make sure you’re connected to the internet (Wi-Fi or mobile data).
Test another website to confirm your connection is working.
Restart your router or modem.
Improving your connection
Use a wired connection (Ethernet) on desktop for more stability.
Switch networks – try a different Wi-Fi or your mobile data connection.
Close background apps or downloads that may be using bandwidth.
Pause VPNs or proxies – these can slow or block the connection.
On mobile devices
Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see which works better.
Toggle Airplane Mode on and off to refresh your network connection.
Restart your phone or tablet if the issue continues.
Game results and connectivity
Once a game has started, the results are confirmed and recorded on Runestake’s servers.
Any interruptions to your internet connection after the game starts will not affect the outcome.
For games that require user input, you can refresh or reconnect to continue where you left off.
If issues persist
Check if Runestake is undergoing maintenance or updates.
Run a speed test – we recommend at least 5 Mbps for smooth gameplay.
Contact your internet provider if your connection remains unstable.
