Why was my redemption delayed or declined?

Most Sweeps Cash redemptions on Runestake are processed instantly. However, there are a few reasons why your redemption might be delayed or declined.


Common reasons for delays

  • Redemption size – Large redemptions may require additional review.

  • Redemption frequency – Multiple redemptions in a short timeframe can trigger checks.

  • Network confirmations – If redeeming via crypto, transactions depend on blockchain confirmation times.

  • Temporary review – Activity that appears unusual or inconsistent may be flagged for a quick compliance review.


Common reasons for declines

  • Incorrect details – A wrong wallet address or RuneScape username was entered.

  • Unsupported method – Trying to redeem with an option not currently active in your wallet.

  • Violation of terms – Accounts found in breach of Runestake’s Terms of Service may have redemptions declined.
