Why can’t I log in?

If you’re having trouble logging into your Runestake account, it’s usually caused by one of a few common issues.

Common reasons for login issues

  • Incorrect email or password – Double-check you’re using the right credentials for your account.

  • Forgotten password – You may need to reset it using the “Forgot Password” option.

  • Unverified account – Some features may be restricted until you verify your email and account details.

  • Account exclusion – If you’ve requested a self-exclusion, your account will remain locked until the exclusion period ends.

  • Browser issues – Cached files, cookies, or outdated versions may block login attempts.

Quick fixes

  1. Reset your password

    • Use the Forgot Password option on the login screen and follow the steps sent to your email.

  2. Clear your cache and cookies

    • Corrupted files can prevent login. See our cache and cookies guide for details.

  3. Try another browser or device

    • Switching between Chrome, Firefox, or Safari often resolves issues.

  4. Check your email

    • Confirm that you’ve verified your registration and check for any notices about your account.

If your account is excluded

  • Accounts under a short-term or indefinite exclusion cannot be accessed until the exclusion expires or is lifted (via a request from your registered email).
